The Overseas Consultant - Study Abroad

  Recently there has been a lot of confusion regarding the status of Indian students planning for their higher education in Canada. As a director of the company The Overseas Consultant based in India, I would like to state the following facts which can be verified from the Indian and Canadian government websites. India has stopped issuing Visas to Canadian passport holders throughout the world. However Canada has not banned issuing Visa to Indian tourist or Indian students. This means there has been no negative effect on the student Visa process for Canada. In fact there has been no delay in Visa processing by IRCC, which is the Visa issuing authority of Canada.   We at TOC have been filing for Student Visa with IRCC, regularly since the last 2 weeks and have been receiving Visa Approvals for those students whose Visa was filed in the month of August 2023.
