New Canadian Study Permit Allocations and Approvals 2024:  Marc Miller, Canada's immigration minister, issued an official statement stating that they plan to approve 235,600 new study visas in 2024. Furthermore, the maximum for new study permit applications (excluding elementary and secondary school students and master's or doctoral degree students) is set at 392,667, assuming a 60% approval rate. The ministry also released a thorough province-by-province attestation letter and study permit approval allotment for 2024 (which are listed further in this article). Overall, Canada expects to award 485,000 study permits by 2024. This includes around 97,000 study permit extensions from within Canada.
