Canada's One-Year Masters Programs With a Three-Year Work Permit:  New regulations for foreign students studying in Canada as of 2024 were implemented by Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). Along with other new special measures for international students coming to complete master's degrees, the IRCC established a cap on the number of international students entering Canada each year. However, master's or doctorate-level programs are exempt.
