Everything you wanna know about
Sheridan College !!!!!

In 1967, Sheridan College was founded. Before moving to its new campus in Oakville, Ontario in 1970, the School of Graphic Design was housed in Brampton, Ontario. Sheridan College had rehabilitated the former public high school in Brampton, which was condemned, to use as a campus. Residential homes eventually took the place of the school and surrounding area. When classes started in the fall of 1970, the new Oakville location was still under construction. The classes were held in a spacious, open space with triangle skylights providing the students with excellent lighting. The photography department processed film and prints in darkrooms and had a well-equipped photo studio. That building has been combined with numerous other, equally large buildings.

Programs at Sheridan College:

More than 130 programs at the college lead to post-graduate diplomas, certificates, degrees, and diplomas. Sheridan College offers undergraduate and graduate film programs, a program in craft and design, and a program in music theatre performance. Among other subjects, they offer courses in business, liberal studies, applied computing, animation, and illustration, as well as community studies and engineering technology. In 2012, the Sheridan Faculty of Animation, Arts, and Design's art and design programs were granted "substantially equivalent" membership status by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD). (NASAD's non-American members' nomenclature) Sheridan is only the second Canadian art school to hold this distinction.
