Foreigners eagerly await the most recent information regarding the Canada Express Entry lottery. The good news is that a limited group of skilled immigrants who wish to live permanently in Canada have received invitations to apply for Canada Express Entry from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). On December 18, 2023, invitations to apply for permanent residence through the Express Entry system were sent out.

On December 18, 1325 invitations were sent out through the all-program Express Entry. Foreign nationals who meet the eligibility requirements and are ranked within the top 1,325 in the group ranking are invited. The lowest-ranked candidate invited had a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 542. In the event that multiple candidates have the lowest score, the cut-off is determined by the time and date on which their Express Entry profiles were submitted. In the past all-program Express Entry draw on December 6, the CRS cutoff score was 561, which is 19 points lower than it was now.
Applications for economic immigration under the Federal Skilled Worker Program, Canadian Experience Class, Federal Skilled Trades Program, and Provincial Nominee Program are processed under the supervision of Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

The electronic application for permanent residence (e-APR), which must be completed by candidates for Express Entry, must be submitted within 60 calendar days of the invitation to apply (ITA). As of October 1, 2023, applicants for Express Entry will not be required to undergo upfront medical examinations.
