 MBA Students Can Apply For ₹10 Lakh Scholarships Offered By UK Business School



Scholarships worth 10,000 pounds (roughly ₹ 10.52 lakh) are being offered by the Sheffield University Management School in the UK to students, including those from abroad, who intend to enroll in the MBA program for the September 2024 session.

Scholarship recipients will be students who exhibit extraordinary academic achievement, the university said in a press release. The full-time MBA program admittance list will determine who gets chosen for the awards automatically.

According to the university, the admissions team will review all applications, including the personal statement. To calculate an overall score, candidates will also be evaluated based on how well they performed in the MBA admissions staff interview.
Offer prerequisite:

Candidates for scholarships must have an offer—conditional or unconditional—to enroll in the Sheffield MBA program.

Qualifications and exclusions:


The MBA scholarship would not be available to students who were accepted via the exception process.
Procedure for awarding scholarships:

Scholarships will be given out in accordance with the university's phased admissions dates for the entire academic year. The MBA application will be reviewed for scholarships for all eligible candidates.
Notification and enrollment:

Prospective scholarship recipients will be given the option to enroll in the Sheffield MBA prior to receiving an offer. Following the "decisions returned" deadline for each round, when all scholarship decisions are made, candidates will be notified of their scholarship award within a fortnight.

Acceptance and money down payment:


Candidates must accept their scholarship and pay the deposit within the timeframe given by Sheffield University Management School for the stage in which the application was submitted. The candidate with the highest value award will be chosen if they receive multiple scholarship offers.

Applicants cannot be sponsored students and must start their studies at the University of Sheffield in the fall of 2024 in order to be eligible for the scholarship.

Discount on tuition:

According to the university, the scholarship will only be used as a reduction on tuition. If the applicant is chosen for the scholarship, there will be a deadline for sending in a tuition fee deposit.
