The course's application deadline is June 30, 2024, and the session will start in September of that year.
Qualification standards
Typically, candidates should hold a bachelor's degree and have at least a First Class final overall score. Owing to the multitude of grading schemes in use, applicants ought to provide a copy of their institution's grading scheme with their transcript when submitting their application. The MSc Applied Economics and the MSc Applied Economics with Banking and Financial Markets programs require candidates to hold a bachelor's degree in business or social science.
The remaining courses require applicants to have completed at least five core economics units with good grades and to have an undergraduate degree in business, economics, or a related quantitative field. If a candidate has significant relevant professional experience and holds an undergraduate degree in a different topic, it might be possible to consider them. Students are required to submit a personal statement detailing their goals for the future, their motivation for wanting to continue the course, and any relevant academic background.
The minimum requirements for English language proficiency are either a minimum of 6.5 on the IELTS with no less than 6.0 in all components, a minimum of 62 on the Pearson Test of English Academic with no less than 59 in any element, or a minimum of 90 on the TOEFL IBT with a minimum of 21 in all other components and a minimum of 24 in the writing section. Instead, they may be able to provide proof if they graduated within the last five years from an Indian university where English is the primary language of teaching and received at least a 75% in English on their Indian 12th Standard exams. The university's website has information on other acceptable language requirements.
