Canada announces new guidelines for international students' employment permits after graduation: The Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) restrictions for international students have been modified by the Canadian government. Those who have completed their studies at a designated learning institution (DLI) and would like to work temporarily in Canada may be eligible for a post-graduation work permit (PGWP). The post-graduation work permit program now has additional guidelines for students who wish to work in the UK following their education. Students who complete master's degree programs that last fewer than two years—eight months at the very least—will be qualified for a three-year PGWP beginning on February 15, 2024. Your PGWP's duration is determined by the length and intensity of your study program as well as the date on which your passport expires, whichever occurs first. PGWP durations for programs other than master's degrees will stay three years maximum, in line
